Friends of the Chicago River
Friends of the Chicago River is leading a bike tour of the South Branch of the Chicago River! We'll meet in Federal Plaza at 10 a.m. and ride south to visit Ping Tom Park, Bubbly Creek, La Vilita Park, and the Chicago Maritime Museum. We'll stop at the Bridgeport Arts Center for lunch (bring some with you or purchase some there) and a brief discussion of the future of the Chicago River. You can either leave us there or join us for the ride back to the Loop. Friends' Policy and Planning Specialist, Anthony Cefali, will be giving insight into Chicago River developments along the way.
BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike)--But don't worry! If you don't have a bike, we'll have Divvy passes available!
